Profile Management

The directors and management have the experience and professional skills necessary to provide consultancy in any aspect of Insurance, Pensions, Investment, Trust, and relevant training needs. They have practical and working experience in insurance, finance, accounting, underwriting, administration, sales, and marketing.

Beryl Oyugi,

The Managing Director has over 30 years of employment experience initially in the Civil Service and subsequently in the Private Sector, Twenty of which has been in the sales, marketing, and administrative services in the Insurance Industry. She holds a Diploma in Fisheries Management and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance obtained from the College of Insurance. She has wide experience in sales and customer service and is responsible for building customer relationships. Alongside setting up Mfarusi in the year 2000, she sold life policies as an agent with British American Insurance Company for over 7 years. She has therefore developed goodwill and enjoys warm relationships with various Insurance Companies. She has attended several courses and seminars locally and has widely travelled abroad.  

Michael Oimo

Michael O. Oimo, the Marketing and Strategy Director has over 33 years of experience in Insurance and Financial Services.  He has been responsible for development of insurance products, retirement benefit schemes, annuities and investment products. He has worked for the leading local and international companies during which he rose to the level of assistant general manager Group Business Development. He has served in various capacities including in: investments, pensions administration, group business operations, sales and business development.

He holds Bachelor of Commerce degree and Post Graduate professional course in Insurance and is an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of London (UK). He is certified trainer for Trustee Development Program Kenya and has served as member of the Pension and the Group Life technical committees of the Association of Kenya Insurers.He has been a member of theGroup Life Standing Rating committee established by the Insurance Regulatory Authority. And has also been involved in several industry training programs as a resource person. He has also attended several training programs both locally and internationally .

Mr .Richard Oyare

Richard Oyare, has extensive familiarity, knowledge, skills, capability; professional, practical and technical experience in especially TAF strategic and tactical planning, recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring, performance and competency management, restructuring and transformation as well as research, over the last two decades - since 1988. Richard’s other qualifications include previously being an insurance industry operative; a member of AKI’s Life Insurance Council (LIC); AKI’s Individual Life Committee; and IRA’s Life Business Committee; being a current Director of Insurance Information Bureau; in addition to being LIMRA’s Regional Executive Representative Richard has successfully handled similar projects at industry level through AKI and more specifically and directly for some insurance companies. He has a good track record in the management and implementation of various initiatives – both technical and professional.

Operations and Systems Officer is a Bachelors of Commerce graduate from Strathmore Business School. He joined Mfarusi in July 2009 and is responsible for client relationship and systems management. The key areas of focus includ Handling quotations requests; managing correspondence and providing customer service; Maintaining client database; and business development.Prior to joining Mfarusi  he was involved with Apiary Investment Fund and Completed Trader Development Program Training,

(forex Trading on  Meta Trader Platform: Mt4); Generally includedExecution of risk management strategies; Forex Trading for both bullish and bearish trends; execution of profit maximization strategies; completed all training modules for system execution; interpreting signals from forex market indicators; trend analysis for support and resistance; monitoring price actionand participation in trader education forums i.e. Live Webinars and discussions ,

Victor Juma,

Administration Assistant, he has over 10 years experience in administration and public relations. He holds a certificate from Association of Business Executives of UK - Business Administration, Diploma in counselling and Certificate in supervisory Management & Organizational Skills. He joined Mfarusi Insurance Agency in 2012. He is responsible for Office Administration.
